چکیده
Abstract Introduction Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) has been established in down-staging tumours, allowing breast conserving surgery. Additionally, NACT informs treatment decisions guided by tumour response. Pathological complete response (pCR) correlates with disease-free survival. It is known that rates vary according to biological subtype. This retrospective analysis aimed analyse the rate of pCR post cancer subtypes. Methods A usage was conducted from January 2011 December 2021. Clinical data patients who received were collected using local Breast Unit database. included patient demographics, menopausal status, size tumour, type surgical procedure, axillary histopathology details pathological and time and/or systemic recurrence. Results 531 for between 288/531 (54.2%) pre-menopausal. There an increase subtypes (Triple Negative, triple positive & Her 2 positive) receiving over years. 202/538 (37.5%) cancers achieved NACT. higher grade 3 tumours (41.9%) compared 1 (28.8%) or (28.8%). Triple negative HER2 +ve had highest (45.5% 60.3% respectively). Conclusion Patients human epidermal growth factor receptor (HER)2-positive triple-negative are good candidates neoadjuvant as they have probability achieving pCR. Future studies being determine how anticipate which her2+ will achieve

Evaluation of Pathologic Complete Response in Breast Cancer Patients Treated with Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy: Experience in a Single Institution over a 10-Year Period
BACKGROUND Pathologic complete response (pCR) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has been associated with favorable clinical outcome in breast cancer patients. However, the possibility that the prognostic significance of pCR differs among various definitions has not been established. METHODS We retrospectively evaluated the pathologic response after NAC in 353 breast cancer patients and com...

BACKGROUND Cytoreductive surgery combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) is a treatment option for selected patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis. There are limited data available on anaesthesia management and its impact on patients' outcome. Our aim was to retrospectively analyze and evaluate perioperative management and the clinical course of patients undergoing ...
